Open your surgical journey
Your surgical team gives you one personal link. Open it here to see the information they have prepared for you before surgery, during recovery, or both. There is no account to create.
One app, one connected journey
- Before your operation. Polaris helps you understand what is involved and work through your team’s information at your own pace.
- After your operation. The Compass follows your recovery day by day, anchored to the operation date you confirm.
- Your team’s words. Everything about your procedure comes from the surgical team looking after you, not from a general search or from Patient Compass.
- No patient account. Your personal link decides which parts of the journey you can open. Your progress and notes stay on this device.
- Works offline. Information you have opened remains available for a limited time when you have no connection, and refreshes when you are back online.
Haven’t got a link?
Patient Compass is not something patients sign up for. Surgical teams provide it with their own approved information. If you have an operation booked, or are recovering from one, ask the team looking after you whether they use it.
You can look around the example journeys in the meantime. They demonstrate how the two parts of Patient Compass work; they are not guidance for anyone’s actual care.
Reading this over someone’s shoulder?
If you look after surgical patients, this panel is the one for you. Patient Compass carries your own information from preparation through recovery, in your clinical voice and your practice’s brand. You send one link; the patient opens the parts you granted.
See it from the clinician’s sideIf you are a patient reading this, you are welcome to send that page to your surgical team.
Patient Compass is educational and does not replace advice from your own clinical team. In an emergency, call 999.
